My name is Joel Olubusayo, a 300-level student of Food Science at the University of Ilorin and the founder of The Peculiarly Peculiar Fashion Design Brand. I write this not just as a student or entrepreneur, but as a deeply grateful recipient of your generous support.
Thanks to the TEC-ASBE grant, I was able to acquire my very first sewing machine — a dream I had long nurtured but couldn’t achieve on my own. What may seem like a simple piece of equipment to some is, for me, a transformative gift — one that has redefined the future of my creative journey.
From Borrowing to Building
Before this opportunity, I had to constantly borrow sewing machines, hopping from place to place just to complete my work. This came with delays, stress, and limited creative control. Today, all that has changed.
Now, with my own high-quality sewing machine, I can confidently take charge of every stitch, every cut, and every design. This acquisition has:

- Laid a solid foundation for the growth and expansion of my brand
